I need some advice. As my faithful readers know, I recently purchased an
iPod for the gym. I've loaded about 106 songs on it, but I just don't feel like I have the cream of the crop when it comes to 'pump you up' songs. And believe me, I need something other than the Real World Hollywood to keep me going.
Send me your suggestions!

Lose Yourself - Eminem
Heart of a Champion - Nelly
Both of these songs are great to run and lift to.
Pump it -Blackeyed Peas
Summertime- NKOTB (j/k)
4 minutes - Madonna,JT.
When the lights go out - five (it's a new favorite of mine but an old song. Try it out.)
i was just about to write Pump it. That is a GREAT song to work out to.
A few more of my fav's:
The Sweet Escape- Gwen
Fergalicious- Fergie
In Da Club- BEYONCE
Gold Digger- Kanye West & Jaime Foxx
Sweet Emotion- Aerosmith
i went to look up "When the Lights go out" because i knew it sounded familiar. man, i haven't heard that song in a while. brought back memories. :)
You should just get dialogue of Hans and Franz. That would give you a mental images of their physique, and that would in turn motivate you to Pump! {Clap} it UP!
Thanks for the input! I already had most of them, but purchased a few I didn't.
I am completely shocked that no one mentioned Survivor's Eye of the Tiger. It is pretty much the only song you need for all your working out needs. Or so I've heard.
this might be way off, but i like some older stuff, beastie boys - no sleep 'til brooklyn, acdc back in black, mc5 over and over.. lots of energy, really rocking. -e
my favorite workout song is Vindicated by Dashboard....don't know why, but it always keeps me running!
I probably spend more time making playlists for the gym then I do actually using them at the gym. I hope some of these are helpful:
Missy Elliot:
Ching-a-ling
Shake Your Pom Pom
Lose Control
Work it
Janet Jackson - Feedback
Pink - Stupid girls
Little old school Pump up the jam - technotronic
Usher - Yeah!
