ABC is playing the season finale of LOST tonight in preparation for the new season that starts tomorrow. They're doing their own version of Pop-Up Video. As the episode plays out a running commentary/recap randomly pops-up on the bottom of the screen.
Strange.

I was really upset because I thought the premiere was tonight. I still watched the whole thing though and tired to guess what the next pop-up would be. I was uncannily accurate. Either I am a much better writer than I ever imagined or the strike is really hurting the talent pool in Hollywood.
I want this on every show now. How great would it be to watch American Idol and at the bottom of the screen see "This woman is singing a song". Or during the Today Show: "This person is a news anchor. Sometimes you can't trust them."
Danny, that would be hilarious! Maybe on FNL it could say "Tim Riggins is dreamy." or "This is Matt Saracen. Sometimes he pronounces his girlfriend's name Car-Low-Ta."
