"Those flashing lights come from everywhere"

Those lyrics popped into my head as soon as we were in Nevada. The lights from the casinos are everywhere. The weekend was so great!

We got to Vegas late Friday night and spent Saturday morning/afternoon by the pool. It was blazing hot but my only other goal for the weekend (aside from seeing JT) was to improve my tan. I think I was successful.

We all got ready and headed over to Mandalay Bay to grab a bite to eat before the show. If you are a people-watcher then you would be a kid in a candy store in Vegas. Yikes! We saw every type of person (and outfit) you could imagine. Delightful.

After we finally got through "security" we hit up the merchandise tables. I'm normally not a concert T-shirt purchaser, but I made an exception for Justin. It blows my mind to think of how much money they made off of merchandise alone. It was madness in there.

Lindsay and I made a trip out to the car after we realized we really could bring cameras into the arena and ended up missing most of Good Charlotte. I wasn't too sad about it.




The concert was incredible! Probably the most entertaining show I've ever been to. Normally I bop along with songs, standing up only for the ones I really love, but this time was different. The entire audience was on their feet from the moment we heard "Future. Sex. Love. Sound." and I was dancing and screaming like crazy. It was so much fun!









I heart Justin Timberlake's dancing. Love, love, love it!


Timbaland came out towards the middle of the show and did a couple songs with Justin. Then Justin took a break and he spent 40 minutes out there on his own. It was fantastic. If you don't have his CD, Shock Value, you're missing out.
(Don't mind my screaming in the video below. I was just so excited that Timbaland was there! I couldn't help myself.)


Before Justin sang his encore he busted out a little "D in the B" (he really called it that and for some reason I think it's the most hilarious thing I've ever heard) from his SNL skit. At first I couldn't figure out what he was singing but after the show I couldn't stop singing "Step one - you cut a whole in the box".

The show was so great that I seriously considered buying tickets and going again on Sunday night. It was worth every penny.
